Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift ICU position requiring a MO or compact license and advanced critical care experience.

• Work in the ICU of a hospital environment
• Patient population includes critical care, STEMI, and stroke cases
• May float between ICU and Telemetry units as needed
• Night shift schedule with three 12-hour shifts, 19:00 - 07:00
• Every other weekend required, with flexibility based on staffing needs
• No call required
• Uses Meditech EMR; prior experience preferred but ability to learn is required
• Navy blue scrubs are required
• Block scheduling over weekends may be possible but not guaranteed
• First-time travelers are accepted if experience criteria are met

• Active MO or Compact RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required; first-time travelers must have at least 2 years in a Level 1 Center
• Certifications:
  
  BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
• Experience with Impella, balloon pump, stroke care, and STEMI care required
• Two professional references are required for consideration
