Citizens Memorial Hospital (CMH) is recruiting a Nursing Support Registered Nurse (RN) to help care for residents throughout our Long Term Care Facilities. CMH is made up of 34 primary and specialty clinics, 6 Long-Term Care facilities and 1 residential care facility. Offering acute care, emergency services, ambulatory care, pharmacies, walk-in clinics, surgeries, addiction recovery, therapies and more, CMH has its community covered!
About the area: Your assignments each day will allow you to experience various surrounding communities as you travel to our facilities located in Stockton, El Dorado Springs, Ash Grove, Buffalo, and Bolivar.
Located in the heart of the Ozarks, our main campus in Bolivar has a hometown feel and affordable housing options of rentals or apartments. Enjoy a movie, a round of golf or a college game with family or friends and grab a coffee or meal from an array of shops and restaurants! About the department: Our LTC Float Pool supplements staffing throughout our 6 Long Term Care Facilities based on need. You will receive your assignment each day from your supervisor and receive paid mileage to the facility outside of the bounds of your "home base" which is the nearest facility to your home address. Nurses who work in the Citizens Memorial Long Term Care Float Pool will be trained to float and support in a variety of facilities including:
Lake Stockton, Colonial Springs in Buffalo, Ash Grove, Community Springs in El Dorado Springs, Parkview, and Citizens Memorial Healthcare Facility in Bolivar.
A typical day will include: receiving your shift assignment, bedside shift report, initial assessments, BMV scanning and med pass, coordinating and providing care utilizing critical thinking framework, assisting with meals and daily hygiene, effectively educating patient/family from admission to discharge, maintaining patient/family confidentiality and privacy, demonstrating knowledge that reflects current nursing practice.
