Placement in Nurse Residency program for newly graduated nurses

Ourfloat pool supplements staffing throughout the hospital based on need. Nurses who work in the Citizens Memorial Float Pool will be trained to float and support in a variety of areas including:

Medical Surgical, Intensive Care, Telemetry, Geriatric Psych, The Birth Place, Emergency Department, and ASC- pre/post op recovery.

As aFloat Pool RN, you will be:

Administering medications to manage patients' pain levels and medical needs.

Working closely with our providers to generate a plan for the dayto coordinate admissions and discharges as the shift progresses.

Educating patient/family from admission to discharge

Maintaining patient/family confidentiality and privacy

Working witha great teamof upbeat nursing staff and providers.

Education:

Associatesor Bachelor'sdegree

Skills:

Multitasking,patience, compassion,communication (written and verbal) and organizational skills

Licensure/Certification :

RN
