Travel RN - ICU

American Traveler is hiring an ICU RN for a night shift assignment requiring at least 2 years of Level 1 ICU experience and MO or compact RN licensure.

• Active MO or Compact RN license required
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required, including experience in a Level 1 Trauma Center
• Impella and balloon pump experience required
• Stroke care and STEMI care experience required
• Skilled in ventilator management, ABG interpretation, and suctioning (ETT, NT)
• Experience with arterial line management, central line care, and blood product administration
• Experience with titration of cardiac and vasoactive drips
• Experience with IV insulin protocols and continuous IV sedation
• Two professional references required for consideration

• Medical Intensive Care Unit setting
• Night shift, 3x12 hours, 19:00-07:00
• 13-week contract length
• Every other weekend required, with flexibility based on staffing needs or traveler preference
• No call required
• Floating required between ICU and Telemetry units
• Meditech EMR experience strongly preferred
• Block scheduling not guaranteed but may be considered, especially over weekends
• Provide critical care nursing to ICU patients, including management of complex cardiac, respiratory, and neurological conditions
• Unit scrub color is navy blue
• First-time travelers accepted if they have at least 2 years of ICU experience in a Level 1 Center
• Local candidates accepted at the same pay rate
