We are currently seeking a Graduate Rotational Program – Pre‑Sales, Product Management & Project Delivery to join our dynamic team in Castel Guelfo (BO), Italy!
We are looking for a high‑potential graduate to join an 18‑month rotational development program designed to provide end‑to‑end exposure to our business and core operational processes.
The role sits within the Vertiv Power Business Unit , responsible for delivering end‑to‑end critical power solutions covering the entire power train — from the utility grid to the final load .
The portfolio includes:
Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) systems
Critical electrical infrastructure
Power distribution solutions
Battery systems and BESS
Busbars and switchgears
Owning the full powertrain enables Vertiv to guarantee high availability, operational continuity, and resilience for mission‑critical applications .
During the program, the candidate will rotate across three key functions – Pre‑Sales, Product Management, and Project Delivery – gaining hands‑on experience, developing both technical and business skills, and working closely with experienced professionals and key stakeholders.
At the end of the 18 months, career progression will be jointly evaluated with the candidate, identifying the best long‑term placement based on performance, interests, and strengths within one of the three functions.
Program Structure (18 Months)
1. Pre‑Sales (approximately 6 months)
Support technical and commercial pre‑sales activities
Analyze customer requirements and business needs
Contribute to the preparation of technical proposals, presentations, and demos
Assist the sales team during customer meetings and solution discussions
2. Product Management (approximately 6 months)
Support product portfolio management activities
Conduct market, customer, and competitor analysis
Contribute to the development of product roadmaps and business cases
Collaborate with engineering, sales, and operations teams
3. Project Delivery (approximately 6 months)
Support planning and execution of customer or internal projects
Assist in coordinating scope, schedule, cost, and quality
Interact with customers, vendors, and cross‑functional teams
Monitor project progress and support reporting activities
Key Responsibilities
Actively learn and contribute across all program rotations
Collaborate with cross‑functional and potentially international teams
Support data analysis, reporting, and presentation preparation
Demonstrate curiosity, ownership, and a continuous improvement mindset
Candidate Profile
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Physics, STEM, or related fields
Strong interest in technical‑commercial roles and business processes
Analytical mindset with strong problem‑solving skills
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Good command of English (written and spoken)
Knowledge of additional languages (such as Spanish, German, or French) is considered a plus
Flexibility and willingness to travel and gain international experience
Willingness to learn, adapt, and take on new challenges
