Cloud and Edge Infrastructure Engineer

Experteer Overview  In this role, you will design, implement, and operate secure, scalable cloud-to-edge platforms to support diverse regional teams. You’ll provide hands‑on leadership in cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes, and edge‑to‑cloud integration while strengthening security and reliability. You’ll standardize architecture patterns and collaborate with automation teams to deliver reusable, production‑ready solutions. This opportunity lets you shape the platform evolution and multi‑cloud readiness within a global engineering context.
Retribuzione / Benefits   Design and operate cloud-native infrastructure for edge and cloud workloads
Develop Kubernetes runtime environments for secure, observable operations
Establish platform standards for networking, IAM, secrets, and workload security
Architect and maintain CI/CD and Git Ops workflows for infra and platform services
Collaborate with automation teams to integrate controls and guardrails
Lead containerization strategy including image lifecycle, vulnerability management, and hardening
Establish monitoring, logging, alerting, and incident response practices
Create reusable reference architectures, templates, and runbooks
Support regional teams with guidance, design reviews, and production readiness
Contribute to long‑term platform evolution including multi‑cloud readiness
Responsabilità   7+ years in infrastructure/platform engineering or cloud operations
Expertise in at least one major cloud platform (Azure strongly preferred)
Production experience with Kubernetes, including cluster operations, upgrades, networking, and security controls
Knowledge of containers and orchestration in enterprise environments
Experience designing edge‑to‑cloud integration patterns and hybrid connectivity

Experience with zero‑trust security principles, IAM/RBAC, secrets management, and policy enforcement
Hands‑on experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or Bicep)

Experience with CI/CD tooling and Git Ops workflows
