Industry: Metal Recycling
Our client is a key player in the metal recycling industry and seeks an experienced Scrap Metal Trader with a background in purchasing ferrous materials. The successful candidate will source and purchase ferrous and non‑ferrous materials, develop supplier relationships, and ensure competitive pricing to maximize profitability.
Key Responsibilities- Sourcing scrap metal from a network of suppliers.
- Negotiating competitive pricing and contracts to maximize margins.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers and industry contacts.
- Monitoring market trends and identifying opportunities for growth.
- Ensuring compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
- Proven experience in scrap metal trading.
- Strong negotiation and relationship‑building skills.
- A results‑driven mindset with the ability to work independently.
- A commercial and growth mindset.
- Excellent market knowledge and commercial awareness.
- Competitive salary (negotiable depending on experience).
- Company Car Allowance.
- A highly attractive quarterly bonus structure.
- Monday to Friday 08:15 – 16:45.
- 23 days annual leave + Bank Holiday.
