General Accountant

The General Accountant will be responsible for full-cycle accounting tasks, including month-end reporting, year-end activities, intercompany transactions, as well as bank and card reconciliations. Responsibilities:

• Manage the month-end process
• Assist in preparing the monthly financial package
• Provide support for mid-year and end-of-year reviews
• Prepare accurate and timely monthly journal entries
• Handle intercompany transactions
• Assist with the internal audit process
• Generate aging reports
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Controller

Requirements:

• A minimum of two years of full-cycle accounting experience
• Experience in the construction industry is considered an asset
• A post-secondary degree in accounting or a related field is required
• While not mandatory, candidates working toward their CPA designation are preferred
