Site- Project Accountant

Position: Site-Based Project Accountant
Join Ledcor as a Site-Based Project Accountant in Caledon, ON, handling accounts receivable and subcontractor management. This role emphasizes accuracy and detail in financial operations across various projects.

As a Project Accountant, you will work under moderate supervision to ensure timely processing of invoices and support project teams. Your responsibilities will include reviewing purchase orders, investigating discrepancies, and coordinating vendor payments. You will also assist with aging accounts receivables and compliance documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process subcontractor invoices and investigate vendor inquiries

• Review Purchase Orders for accuracy before commitments

• Resolve discrepancies between POs, receipts, and invoices

• Coordinate with Accounts Payable for timely payments

• Prepare aging Accounts Receivable and follow up

Requirements:

• 1-3 years of experience in a similar role

• Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel

• Strong attention to detail and multi-tasking abilities

• Basic understanding of project contracts and terms

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
