Project Accountant

Position: Project Accountant Role ON
Pursue a fulfilling role as a Project Accountant stationed in Caledon, ON. This position centers on accounts receivable and subcontractor oversight for finance operations.

As Project Accountant, you will manage the accurate processing of invoices, review purchase orders, and ensure timely payments. Collaborating with project teams, you will contribute significantly to maintaining financial accuracy and resolving discrepancies effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process and validate subcontractor invoices thoroughly

• Review purchase orders before commitments for accuracy

• Investigate and resolve discrepancies with purchases and invoices

• Work with Accounts Payable to ensure timely payments

• Manage aging accounts receivables and perform follow-ups

Requirements:

• 1-3 years in a relevant accounting role

• Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel

• Strong multi-tasking abilities with attention to detail

• Familiarity with project contract terms is essential

• Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing
