Part-Time Math and Science Tutor

Location: Bolton

Oxford Learning Bolton is seeking a part-time Math and Science tutor passionate about student success. Inspire students with pre-planned lessons and support in Grades 9-12 math and science.

This teaching role involves working after school and evenings, Monday through Thursday, with Saturday mornings available. Tutors help students enhance their understanding of complex subjects like Calculus, Physics, and Chemistry. Oxford Learning provides all lesson plans, allowing you to focus on teaching and supporting students constructively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach up to three students in-person at differing levels

• Use Oxford Learning methodologies for effective tutoring

• Fill in post-lesson notes for record keeping

• Communicate daily updates about student progress

• Maintain a friendly and professional demeanor

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant field

• Experience tutoring math and science to high school students

• Strong communication skills in English

• Familiarity with current Grades 9-12 curriculum

• Ability to manage multiple students effectively
