Family Day is hiring a part-time Assistant Teacher for a contract of 25 hours weekly in Caledon. Collaborate closely with E.C.E. Teachers to design engaging curriculum for children ages 0-12. The role includes planning and executing activities while providing compassionate support to children and their families.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement the High/Scope® educational curriculum

• Aid E.C.E. in crafting individualized program plans

• Conduct ongoing assessments of children's development

• Ensure activity areas are properly maintained

• Communicate respectfully with families and staff

Requirements:

• Previous experience in childcare or education

• Awareness of diversity and social inclusion

• Strong organizational and teamwork capabilities

• Standard First Aid and CPR Certification required

• Successful completion of a Police Check within six months
