Position: Outdoor Education Interpreter Role
Engage with nature and the community as an Outdoor Education Interpreter with TRCA, conducting vibrant environmental programs for both day and overnight visitors. Make a positive impact through education.

This position is essential to TRCA's mission, focusing on welcoming guests and delivering memorable learning experiences. Responsibilities include mastering program content, assisting with meal service, and ensuring the safety and maintenance of facilities. The ability to connect with varied audiences and manage multifaceted tasks effectively is key for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead groups through TRCA’s environmental education programs

• Welcome visitors and clarify usage guidelines

• Present interactive learning experiences tailored to audiences

• Coordinate food service and program logistics

• Maintain site safety and readiness protocols

Requirements:

• Education in Recreation, Outdoor Recreation, or similar

• 2+ years of related outdoor program delivery experience

• Valid First Aid & CPR/AED Level C Certification

• Capable of clear communication in various scenarios

• Proficient in MS Office and virtual communication tools
