In this role, reporting to the Manager, Development & Design, you will engage in project management and stakeholder collaboration. A minimum of one year of land use planning experience is essential, coupled with excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency in MS Office and planning software will enhance your effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee processing for various development applications
• Lead planning projects with diverse stakeholders
• Facilitate meetings to update progress effectively
• Conduct site inspections and coordinate with involved agencies
• Review planning frameworks and provide recommendations
Requirements:
• Post-secondary education in Planning or a related field
• At least one year of land use planning experience
• Potential membership in Ontario Professional Planners Institute
• Superior communication skills and discretion
• Proficient in MS Office and planning tools
