Technical Designer in Construction

Location: Bolton

This role requires a strong foundation in Civil Engineering and significant experience in structural design, particularly in formwork. You will be responsible for creating high-quality design documentation while ensuring compliance with national and local building standards. Your ability to work both independently and as part of a team will contribute to achieving project objectives and enhancing client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design formwork and scaffolding for construction projects

• Perform structural calculations and document findings

• Produce general arrangement and fabrication drawings

• Liaise with clients for technical specifications

• Assist junior team members as needed

Requirements:

• Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent experience

• 3+ years in structural engineering design

• Familiarity with Canadian building codes

• Advanced AutoCAD and Revit skills

• Effective communication and teamwork abilities
