Position: Specialist Inspector for Water/Wastewater Facilities
Drive successful project delivery as an Inspector focused on water/wastewater facilities within Peel Region. This role emphasizes quality assurance and compliance in construction.

Peel Region is hiring a detail-oriented Inspector to oversee construction projects at treatment facilities. You will ensure all work complies with Regional standards while contributing to mentorship for upcoming professionals in the field. This position involves extensive documentation, coordination with stakeholders, and participation in safety meetings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze engineering drawings to ensure regulatory compliance

• Act as a liaison between key project stakeholders

• Attend and contribute to relevant project meetings

• Manage contractor compliance with QA/QC standards

• Maintain comprehensive site records and documentation

Requirements:

• Civil Engineering diploma or degree preferred

• At least 5 years of experience in municipal oversight

• Strong understanding of water/wastewater inspection processes

• Valid Ontario Class 'G' Driver's Licence

• Clean criminal record check certificate required
