Caledon Transportation Development Coordinator

Position: Caledon Transportation Development Coordinator Role
Lead transportation planning efforts in Caledon as a Transportation Development Coordinator. Review significant studies and provide technical guidance for sustainable urban development.
This important position reports to the Manager of Transportation Engineering, focusing on analyzing traffic studies related to various applications. You will be responsible for ensuring compliance while coordinating with diverse stakeholders to improve urban infrastructure.

Your role will also involve contributing to the Town’s Transportation Master Plan.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze traffic and parking studies associated with developments

• Offer technical insights on signal and road use plans

• Evaluate development proposals for parking and loading adequacy

• Compile comments for environmental assessments and plans

• Support capital project budget preparations and roadway programming
Requirements:

• Accredited degree in Transportation Engineering or Planning

• 3-5 years relevant experience in the field

• Skilled in Synchro, EMME, or VISSIM applications

• Comprehensive understanding of planning processes and standards

• Strong analytical, communication, and collaboration skills
