Job Description – CARQUEST Canada is seeking a dynamic, results-driven Financial Analyst for a full-time (Hybrid role) at our Bolton Ontario head office. We are currently working 3 days in office and 2 days remote, subject to change in the future. Reporting to the Finance Manager, the Analyst is responsible for providing management with accurate, timely reports and analytical support
. The successful teammate will work in a fast-paced environment where he/she will support multiple projects while interacting with various disciplines of the organization.
- Produce accurate, timely periodic financial, sales and operating reports.
- Partner with and provide detailed quantitative analysis, modeling, and guidance to finance, compensation, marketing, sales, operations and real estate management teams.
- Compensation reporting and accruals – Bonus and commissions.
- Analyze operating results against budget and performance metrics.
- Assist in preparing financial forecasts, annual corporate plan, and other ad-hoc financial requirements.
- Leverage existing tools and data to identify business successes and opportunities.
- Exceptional MS Office skills with proven ability to create and maintain complex Excel models.
- Excellent communication skills, including ability to constructively articulate viewpoints.
- Proven experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (BI preferred), as well as financial systems (i.e. Oracle).
- Excellent analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills.
- Effectively prioritize multiple demands; adjust to change quickly and work constructively under tight deadlines.
- Is a self-starter who works well independently and in a team environment.
- Has strong working knowledge of various areas of profit and loss, and balance sheet.
- 3+ years related analyst experience, CPG/Distribution background preferred
- Minimum - University degree in Business (Finance or Accounting)

Compensation Range:
The range of expected compensation for this role is between 59,500 CAD and 74,500 CAD salary for a new team member. The rate offered to a successful candidate depends on multiple factors, including geographic location, experience in retail, automotive knowledge, education, leadership roles, and other skillsets ideal for this position and shift differential (if applicable).
