Overview

As Security Administrator, you’ll play a pivotal role in safeguarding our organization’s digital assets including systems and networks. The Security Administrator develops and implements a cybersecurity governance program, security plan, policies and risk management framework; monitors networks and systems, detects security threats and provides specialist technology solutions and expertise in the cybersecurity field.

Key Responsibilities Infrastructure Security Management
  • Work with internal teams to secure network, servers, endpoints, and cloud environments.
  • Monitor logs, analyze incidents, and respond swiftly to security breaches and incidents.
Endpoint Security
  • Manage and configure antivirus software and access control policies on all endpoints including servers, workstations and mobile devices.
Server Security
  • Understand server configurations, patches, and user access management.
  • Understand data loss prevention principles and implement policies.
Access Control and Authentication
  • Use Active Directory to define user roles, permissions, and access levels.
  • Manage all corporate authentication mechanisms: multi‑factor authentication (MFA), single sign‑on (SSO).
Incident Response Agility
  • Investigate breaches, analyze logs, and coordinate cyber response efforts.
  • Orchestrate and collaborate with all other organizational IR teams and adhere to all policies and procedures.
Security Policy Development and Compliance
  • Develop, enforce, and update security policies.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and controls.
Vulnerability Management
  • Conduct and participate in regular vulnerability assessments.
  • Prioritize and remediate identified vulnerabilities.
  • Prioritize critical systems and vulnerabilities and develop patch plan.
Communication
  • Explain security concepts to team and leadership.
  • Brief key leaders on the security landscape and how to improve the security posture of the company and its digital assets.
Security Awareness and Training
  • Manage and maintain cyber security training platform for all employees.
  • Foster a security‑conscious culture.
Risk Assessment
  • Predict risks, assess systems for vulnerabilities, provide mitigation proposals to stakeholders.
  • Stay informed about emerging threats.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science with a concentration in cyber security, or related field.
  • Relevant certification(s) – CISSP, CompTIA Security+.
  • Proficiency in network security tools, M365 and Active directory would be considered strong assets.
  • Strong organizational, analytical and problem‑solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
