Location: Bolton
Drive supplier engagement as a Buyer with Husky Technologies in Bolton, ON. Focus on managing part shortages and enhancing delivery accuracy while coordinating with suppliers.
Husky Technologies is seeking a full-time Buyer for a nine-month contract. This role requires 2-4 years of purchasing experience, supporting operations by expediting shortages and ensuring suppliers meet delivery commitments. You will maintain ERP data accuracy while addressing urgent customer needs, fostering communication with suppliers, and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Identify and expedite part shortages efficiently
• Maintain accurate delivery information in ERP systems
• Address urgent customer machine down emergencies
• Communicate daily demand and updates to suppliers
• Utilize cost models for optimal target pricing
Requirements:
• 2-4 years of purchasing experience
• Post-secondary education preferred
• Knowledge of mechanical and electrical components
• Proficiency in ERP systems and MS Office
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
