Logistics Coordinator Distribution Centre

Join the logistics team at a distribution centre in Caledon, ON as a Logistics Coordinator. Oversee order assignments and driver coordination for efficient daily operations.

In this role, you'll begin with an 11-week contract, possibly extending for one year. Your day-to-day tasks will involve managing logistics workflows by communicating effectively with drivers and warehouse teams. Candidates should be adaptable and organized to handle a fast-paced, high-volume environment successfully.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the assignment of drivers to fulfilling orders

• Shift priorities and reassign tasks as needed

• Ensure accurate documentation of orders and dispatch

• Liaise with internal teams to keep deliveries on track

• Address and resolve dispatch and scheduling concerns

Requirements:

• Experience in transportation, logistics, or order coordination

• Familiarity with a high-volume distribution centre

• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English

• SAP knowledge is an advantage, not essential
