Housekeeping and Laundry; Bolton

Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team at a Retirement Home Facility in Bolton, ON. As a Housekeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various settings including long term, retirement and nursing homes. Your attention to detail and strong work ethic will contribute to creating a pleasant and sanitary setting for our clients.

• Perform general cleaning tasks such as dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming
• Clean and sanitize bathrooms, kitchens, and common areas
• Change linens and make beds
• Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste properly
• Restock supplies such as toiletries and cleaning products
• Follow established cleaning procedures and guidelines
• Report any maintenance or repair issues to the supervisor
• Adhere to safety protocols and use personal protective equipment when necessary

• Previous experience in custodial, hotel, hospitality, or industrial cleaning is preferred
• Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and use of cleaning equipment
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Must have a Vulnerable Sector Check
• Must have 2 Step TB test / Chest X Ray Report
• Must have a proof of Immunization Record
• Must have N95 Mask Fit Report
• Influenza vaccine report

Shifts:

Monday to Sunday. The shifts will be casual and might become permanent.

Job Types: Part-time, Casual

Pay:
Up to $17.60 per hour
