Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise, schedule and coordinate yard and warehouse activities.
- Hire, train and manage Yard Employees. Schedule yard activities and provide oversight on day-to-day priorities.
- Responsible for executing production scheduling and requirements as per the Fleet Forecasting under the direction of the Yard Supervisor and Operations Manager
- Responsible for ensuring yard productivity standards are met and maintaining KPI’s
- Responsible for ensuring yard productivity standards are met and maintaining KPI’s
- Responsible for compiling yard workers production sheets and ensuring daily data summarization for Profield entry
- Responsible for ensuring yard housekeeping is in an acceptable condition at all times and delegate/coordinate activities with yard personnel
- Coordinates and schedules all overtime activities with the Yard Supervisor
- Responsible for ensuring safety policies are adhered to by yard staff and will assist in executing training activities.
- Responsible in assisting and ensuring the non-rental fleet inventory consumables are maintained and counted monthly
- Coordinates equipment repair and maintenance and ensures tools are in working order for yard workers.
- Coordinates physical/cycle counts
- Determine inventory requirements, and work with branch networks to obtain necessary equipment to meet customer needs.
- Responsible for the safety and well being of direct reports, and for providing a safe work environment.
- Ensure strict adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Manage and purchase inventoried items in the Branch such as PPE, tools, and consumables.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma required.
- Must have knowledge of Aluma Equipment knowledge
- 5+ years of Operations experience.
- Previous experience in the construction industry is considered an asset.
- Intermediate working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Excel and Word.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong time management and organization skills in order to meet various competing deadlines.
- Ability to self-motivate.
- Ability to work within a team and build a positive team environment.
- Ability to adapt to an ever-changing work environment with competing demands.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Ability to display sound and accurate judgement with the ability to resolve problems in a timely manner
