Job Summary

Material Handler I reporting to the Logistics Supervisor. Responsible for warehouse functions, including loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, cycle counting and maintaining accuracy in all day‑to‑day paperwork such as picking sheets, returns, and bills of lading. Based in Caledon, ON (9 hour shift Monday–Thursday, 6:00am–4:30pm). Wage: $21.00 per hour.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform loading, picking, packing, shipping and receiving activities.
  • Operate forklift and other warehouse machinery safely.
  • Conduct cycle counting and maintain inventory accuracy.
  • Prepare and audit paperwork (picking sheets, returns, bills of lading).
  • Provide technical and maintenance support for the automated packing system during core shift hours.
  • Assist with daily paperwork and perform other duties as assigned.
Essential Functions
  • Maintain performance measurement standards as per contract guidelines.
  • Accurately pick, pack, audit, layer products, and stage for shipment.
  • Load and unload trucks.
  • Operate within a health and safety compliant environment.
Candidate Requirements
  • Valid Forklift Operator's License.
  • Basic knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practice (if applicable).
  • Ability to drive a company vehicle; may require Motor Vehicle Records check.
  • One year of related warehouse or powered industrial truck experience preferred.
  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
Qualifications
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Dependable and punctual with excellent attendance.
  • Detail‑oriented with excellent follow‑up practices.
  • Capable of lifting or moving up to 35 lbs.
  • Ability to work sustained periods of standing and performing repetitive tasks.
  • Availability for flexible scheduling across shifts.
