Sign Painter

We're looking for a Sign Painter to join our team on a 6‑month contract. If you take pride in quality workmanship, enjoy working with your hands, and have a keen eye for detail, we'd love to hear from you.

• Prepare sign components and surfaces for painting and finishing.
• Mix and match paint colours to required specifications.
• Apply Matthews Paint and other coatings to a variety of custom signage products.
• Ensure colour consistency and finish quality across all projects.
• Review completed work for quality, appearance, and accuracy.
• Assist with masking, sanding, cleaning, and surface preparation.
• Maintain paint inventory and ensure materials are properly stored and handled.
• Collaborate with production team members to meet project schedules and deadlines.
• Follow all company health and safety policies and procedures.

• Experience as a Sign Painter, Industrial Painter, Automotive Painter, or similar role.
• Knowledge of Matthews Paint products and application techniques.
• Experience mixing paints and colour matching.
• Strong understanding of surface preparation and finishing processes.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Ability to work independently and manage priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
• Positive attitude and strong teamwork skills.
