Forklift Operator - Night Shift

About the Job

Under the responsibility of the Logistics Supervisor, the Material Handler I performs warehouse functions in a fast‑paced environment, including loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting.

• Perform warehouse functions: loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting.
• Act within performance measurement guidelines of the contract.
• Accurately pick and pack products, audit, induct totes, stage products, and load/unload trucks.
• Handle day‑to‑day paperwork: picking sheets, returns, bills of lading, etc.
• Provide technical and maintenance support for the automated packing system during core shift hours.
• Maintain Good Manufacturing Practice knowledge when applicable.
• Perform other duties as assigned and comply with background checks such as Motor Vehicle Records if required.

• High school diploma or GED (preferred).
• At least one year of related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience.
• Valid Forklift Operator’s License.
• Experience or training with safety‑sensitive, non‑regulated technology.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a diverse team.
• Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and initiative.
• Physical ability to lift and/or push/pull up to 35 lbs, stand for long periods, and follow health and safety methods.
• Flexibility to work various shift schedules.

Hourly wage: $21.00, with a $1.00 night shift premium. Shift: Tuesday–Friday, 5:00pm–3:30am. After 30 days, benefits include medical, dental, vision, retirement plans, and a 15% discount on Ryder stock.
