• Identify and quantify relationships between application, injection molding process, PET/rPET material properties, reheating process, stretch blow molding process and package performance.
• Lead projects focused on experimental development of new hardware, technology, processing or controls strategies that improve pellet‑to‑bottle OEE, performance and quality.
• Deepen Husky’s scientific knowledge of stretch blow molding processing and technology.
• Identify and adapt evolutions in key stretch blow molding technologies, applications and rigid packaging trends to maintain the competitive advantage of Husky products.
• Apply a data‑driven scientific approach: first principles research, scientific relationships and numerical analyses to better interpret and predict poorly understood physical phenomena (causation vs. correlation).
• Develop end‑to‑end solutions in collaboration with business development teams and our customers.
• Work closely with a cross‑functional team of domain experts in Product Development and Validation to integrate innovations and new technologies into practical solutions.
• Act as technical lead for projects, managing project timelines, resources and budgets.

• Mechanical or Plastic Processing Engineering degree, preferably at master’s or PhD level.
• 5‑10+ years of experience in related industries.
• In‑depth understanding of stretch blow molding concepts, system operation, package design, processing and advanced knowledge of rheology and polymer properties relevant to processing.
• Experience leading product launch teams and ability to travel internationally.
• Ability to translate customer needs into innovative solutions utilizing Husky technology suite.
• Proficiency in scientific and systematic methodologies, data analysis and machine learning to derive meaningful technical solutions.
• Background in application and technology development as well as generating new IP.
• Excellent communication skills in English (verbal, written and presentation).
• Strong technical leadership skills with the ability to motivate, coach and mentor team members.
• Ability to work well in a progressive team environment.
• Strong time and project management skills and ability to delegate tasks and projects.
