Drive innovation in packaging with Mars Petcare as a Process & Pack Implementation Technologist based in Bolton. This role emphasizes technical support for sustainable packaging initiatives and process improvements.
As a PPI Technologist, you'll provide critical technical expertise to implement innovative projects in packaging, collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance operational excellence. You will focus on improving manufacturing outcomes and supporting trials from concept to commercialization, ensuring alignment and effectiveness in operations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support packaging trials and technology rollouts efficiently
• Act as site representative for R&D and manufacturing teams
• Establish and standardize packaging process parameters
• Identify and implement process improvement opportunities
• Collaborate on design and execution of qualification protocols
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in related field
• 2-3+ years of relevant technical experience
• Hands-on expertise with trials and root-cause analysis
• Strong understanding of machinery and risks
• Willingness to travel up to 15%
