In this casual position, the Specialty Pharma Nurse will monitor patients receiving treatments, ensuring safety during infusions, and documenting procedures accurately. You will work closely with the Specialty Nursing Supervisor to enhance patient satisfaction and maintain effective communication throughout your shifts. The role includes training for advanced nursing skills specific to infusion services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and create individualized patient care plans

• Conduct thorough assessments and administer medications

• Initiate IV access, including central and peripheral lines

• Deliver and document specialized pharmacological treatments

• Observe and report on patient conditions aptly

Requirements:

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program

• Active provincial nursing registration

• Current BLS and ACLS certifications

• Relevant experience in acute care or specialty nursing

• Strong observational and communication skills
