Quality Assurance Technician

Senior Quality Assurance and Regulatory Manager

• Implements company and regulatory quality standards for retail and private label brand products.
• Performs quality control inspections, checks, and tests during the manufacture of products. Inspects materials, parts, and products at different stages of production.
• Records observations and may make recommendations for improving processes.
• Performs inspections of raw materials, materials in process, and finished products.
• Assists in developing quality control policies and evaluates production limitations. Knowledge of industry and governmental quality regulations.
• Knowledgeable of industry and governmental quality regulations.
• Prepares filings and tracks applications for licensing, certification, and permits, and interacts with governmental officials during the regulation and certification process for FSQA programs.
• Monitors compliance with existing regulations and upcoming or changing regulations.
• Performs impact analysis of regulatory changes and produces status reports. Audits and reviews quality data according to existing procedures.
• Documents results in required format. Participates in processes to report, investigate, and address any issues of non‑compliance.

• Maintains all documentation for the purpose of auditing.
• Performs RM inspection upon receiving and manages sample retention.
• Reviews incoming reprint of labels, cases for accuracy, functionality, and compliance.
• Ensures internal and external programs document accurately reflect all relevant product information.
• Verifies CCPs during production runs.
• Plans, conducts, and monitors testing and inspection of materials and products to ensure finished product quality.
• Ensures measuring equipment are functioning properly and reports if malfunctioning.
• Metal Detector, Weight, First pack of each SKU verification.
• Completes documentation based on consumer request.
• Reviews and updates existing program and follows up on execution.
• Arranges sanitation activities as required.
• Records and supports investigation of food complaints.
• Supports preparation of BRC audit and re‑certification.
• Supports external audits, performs monthly, weekly, and daily audits of the premises and processes; records findings and initiates corrective actions.
• Conducts daily, weekly and monthly internal audits of premises, processes and documentation; records findings and initiates corrective actions.
• Performs allergen testing; prepares and labels samples for external testing and customer approvals.
• Coaches employees during production to enhance Food Safety Culture.
• Collects data and updates templates for monthly food safety presentations.
• Verifies production documentation and files accordingly.
• Obtains required documents from stakeholders.
• Verifies pest control program implementation.
• Performs disposal procedures when carrying out the disposal of any product.
• Performs yearly validation and verification activities.
• Maintains supplier & customer complaint folder and prepares the trend for the same.
• Prepares COA when requested by customer.
• All other duties as required/assigned.

• 2+ years of experience in a fast‑paced food manufacturing environment.
• Experience in MS Suite – Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Extensive knowledge related to automated testing; be able to report and read it in the right way.
