Location: bolton

Roma Fence Ltd is looking for an Automation Sales & Operations Manager to sell Automated Access Systems and gate operators to commercial, institutional and residential customers and to manage its operations.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Sales of residential and commercial access control systems/automated gate operators & accessories.
  • Sales of Fence Products alongside our parent company sales team.
  • Expand customer base; call potential clients to generate potential business opportunities.
  • Respond to Client Inquiries.
  • Provide quotes for clients.
  • Perform site visits, both residential and commercial; and assess needs of clients.
  • Collection of projects once completed.
  • Promote product lines; maintain and continue to develop product knowledge within the company’s industrial and residential lines.
  • Attend industry trade shows and seminars related to access control systems/automated gate operators as required.
  • Stay current in knowledge of access control systems product features, legislations and regulations.
  • Handle purchasing & manage vendor relations alongside senior management.
  • Oversee inventory control & management alongside senior management.
  • Other sales and operations-related duties.
REQUIREMENTS
  • Automation experience is required for this position.
  • Minimum of 3 – 5 years Experience doing outside sales or Operations Management – experience in selling access control systems and/or automated gate operators is required.
  • Background in Mechanical Engineering or related is an asset.
  • Excellent relationship building ability.
  • Track record of sales success and demonstrated excellence in customer service.
  • Excellent communication skills (strong phone etiquette and face to face service.
  • Motivated, collaborative, results-oriented, competitive and customer-focused.
  • Strong presentation, interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Must be team focused and work closely with managers and other internal departments.
  • Must hold and maintain a current and valid Ontario Driver’s License.
  • Must have a clean criminal record and be able to successfully pass a security background check.

Salary + commission commensurate with qualifications.
