Job Purpose
The shipper/receiver plays a key role in keeping products moving safely, accurately, and on time. This role typically combines warehouse operations, inventory control, and safety compliance, with extra care due to the nature of battery products.
This is a current vacant position and general hours for this position are: 8 hours/day, 40 hours/week, additional hours may be required

Qualifications

Education and/or
Experience:
One to two years’ industry related experience; or equivalent combination of technical education and industry experience. Must be able to use basic hand tools, hand truck, pallet jack and other material handling equipment.
Language
Skills:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interface with all levels of customers and personnel.
Mathematical
Skills:
An understanding of basic math skills.
Reasoning Ability: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions which lead to proper customer solutions.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Forklift certificate
Computer
Skills:
Proficient with Microsoft Office, and the Internet.

Skills and Abilities:
