EG Group are looking for an Interim Management Accountant to join the Finance team on a single 3 month contract. The role supports the delivery of accurate and timely management accounts, financial reporting, and performance analysis across the business. Report to the Finance Manager and play a key role in month‑end processes, balance sheet control, budgeting, and financial analysis, aiding decision making and driving business performance.

The role is suited to a part‑qualified accountant wishing to develop experience in a fast‑paced, commercially focused environment.

• Producing accurate monthly management accounts, journals and balance sheet reconciliations within agreed deadlines.
• Leading or supporting month‑end processes, ensuring reporting is accurate, complete and aligned with Group requirements.
• Supporting variance and trend analysis, providing insights into financial performance across sites and cost centres.
• Working closely with operational and commercial teams to support budgeting, forecasting and business decision‑making.
• Managing balance sheet controls, fixed asset accounting and ensuring financial risks are appropriately identified and managed.
• Assisting with quarterly reporting, statutory audits and ad‑hoc finance projects as required.
• Supporting the continuous improvement of finance processes, controls and reporting efficiency.

• Part‑qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA or ACA).
• Previous experience in a Management Accounting or Assistant Management Accounting role.
• Strong Excel skills, with the ability to analyse and interpret financial data.
• Good understanding of month‑end processes, journals, reconciliations and financial reporting.
• Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Commercially aware, with the ability to work closely with operational stakeholders and support decision‑making.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build effective working relationships across the business.
• Proactive, adaptable and eager to continue developing within a finance career.
