Description

Process invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
Match purchase orders to invoices and resolve any discrepancies.
Prepare payment runs and ensure all payments are authorised.
Maintain and update supplier accounts and records.
Handle supplier queries and resolve issues promptly.
Credit Card Reconciliations.
Assist with month-end processes and reconciliations.
Ensure compliance with internal accounting procedures.
Support the team with general administrative tasks as required.

Profile

A successful Purchase Ledger Clerk should have:

Experience in processing invoices and payments within a finance team.
Good attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Familiarity with accounting software and Excel.
A proactive approach to resolving queries and issues.

Job Offer

Salary between 27,000 to £30,000 dependent upon experience.
