Senior Audit Senior / Assistant Manager Salary: DOE Location:

This opportunity offers genuine variety working closely with owner-managed businesses across a diverse portfolio while gaining exposure to complex audit assignments leadership responsibility and a clear route to Manager level and beyond.

You will play a key role in delivering high-quality audit services acting as a trusted advisor to clients and supporting the development of junior team members.

• Leading audits from planning through to completion for small and medium-sized entities
• Managing complex audit sections (e.g. stock deferred tax group structures related parties)
• Preparing audit plans analytical reviews and going concern assessments
• Acting as the main client contact on selected assignments
• Reviewing work and mentoring junior staff
• Supporting senior leadership with KPI delivery and resource planning
• Identifying process improvements and efficiencies
• Contributing to business development and networking activities

• 36 years UK accountancy practice experience within audit
• ACA / ACCA qualified or finalist level
• Strong technical knowledge of UK GAAP and audit standards (ISA)
• Experience leading audits and reviewing junior work
• Proven ability to manage client relationships effectively
• Excellent communication and organisational skills

• Exposure to owner-managed businesses and SME clients
• Experience handling more complex audit assignments
• Involvement in business development or networking
