Job Description & How to Apply Below
Your new company

You'll be joining an established and growing multi-entity commercial group with operations across the UK. The business has a strong presence within its sector and continues to develop its group structure and finance function.

This is an excellent time to join, with the finance team playing an increasingly important role in strengthening reporting, controls and processes across the wider group. You'll work closely with senior finance leadership and gain exposure across multiple businesses and stakeholders.

Your new role

As Group Finance Reporting Manager, you'll take ownership of financial accounting and reporting across a complex multi-entity group, working closely with the Group Finance Director and wider finance team. You'll be responsible for monthly and annual group consolidations, intercompany reconciliations, statutory accounts and IFRS reporting, while ensuring accurate and timely financial information across the group. You'll lead the annual external audit, support internal audit projects and work closely with external tax advisers.

You'll also play a key role in maintaining and improving financial controls, accounting policies and processes, as well as supporting acquisition accounting and integration projects where required. Alongside the technical responsibilities, you'll work closely with the wider finance team, providing guidance and support on accounting treatments and reporting requirements.

What you'll need to succeed

You'll be a qualified ACA or ACCA accountant with strong technical accounting and financial reporting experience, ideally gained within a complex, multi-entity organisation. You'll have hands-on experience of group consolidations, IFRS reporting and statutory accounts, alongside a good understanding of financial controls. You'll also have experience managing or leading an external audit and be comfortable working with external tax advisers and senior stakeholders.

An audit-trained background would be advantageous, particularly if you have exposure to IFRS 15, IFRS 16, SOX, M&A accounting or systems improvements. Working for a top 10 Practice firm is also high desirable.

What you'll get in return

You'll join an established and growing organisation in a senior, high profile finance role with plenty of visibility across the wider group. You'll work closely with senior leadership and have the opportunity to make a real impact across financial reporting, controls and processes. You will receive a salary of up to £75,000 plus bonus and hybrid working.
