Senior Clerical AssistantSalary: Grade C, Scale Point 4-6 (£25,185 - £25,989) pro rata
Hours: 22.5 hours per week, term-time only
Days: Wednesday, Thursday and Friday 8:00am - 4:00pm (30‑minute lunch break)
Contract: Permanent
Required for: 1st September 2026
The Head of School and Governors of this happy and successful school are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic (term‑time only) Senior Clerical Assistant.
The successful candidate will:
- have knowledge and experience of information technology such as Microsoft Office; a good working knowledge of Bromcom is desirable
- be able to work effectively under pressure in a very busy main office with frequent interruptions
- have excellent numeracy, literacy and communication skills
- have experience in a wide range of administration and financial procedures
- be able to manage multiple priorities under pressure, by forward planning and prioritising own workload to meet strict deadlines
- have experience of handling sensitive and confidential material
- have a professional and approachable character, being the first point of contact for all the school’s stakeholders.
