Intelligence Data Administrator
- Job Type: Temporary, Part-time
- Location: Bolton, Lancashire, BL3 5DT
- Pay: £13.74 per hour PAYE
- Duration: 5 months
- Working Hours: 4 days a week (Mondays plus any other 3 days Tuesday to Friday) total of 16 hours per week.
- Enhanced DBS Required.
Bolton Council are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Intelligence Data Administrator to manage and maintain intelligence data within their Intelligence Database (IDB) System. This role involves performing essential administrative duties and supporting operational teams with accurate information within Regulatory Services. The ideal candidate will possess strong data entry skills, an understanding of intelligence handling procedures, and the ability to maintain high levels of confidentiality and data security.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Provide general administrative support including filing, record keeping, and document management, ensuring sensitive information is handled with discretion and professionalism.
- Accurately input, update, and maintain intelligence data in the IDB system, adhering to security protocols. Verify and cross-check data sources to ensure accuracy and reliability.
- Handle verbal and written customer enquiries and complaints in accordance with Council policies and procedures, ensuring prompt and effective responses within service policy timelines.
- Organise and categorise intelligence reports for easy retrieval and analysis. Assist in generating reports and summaries from the IDB system as required, following strict confidentiality and data protection guidelines.
- Support and maintain the use of information systems and databases, recording and supplying relevant information as required.
- Support regulatory services with data requests and troubleshoot issues with the IDB system.
- Maintain logs and track intelligence submissions and updates.
- Work effectively with other team members and develop internal and external customer relationships to help support and improve the efficiency of the team.
- Undertake any other duties that are commensurate with the grading of the post.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong data entry skills and attention to detail.
- Understanding of intelligence handling procedures and data protection guidelines.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
- Experience in administrative support and document management.
- Proficiency in using information systems and databases.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to handle customer enquiries and complaints effectively.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
