School Business Manager

ASAP Start | £160-£185 per day | School Experience Essential

We are seeking an experienced and highly organised School Business Manager to join a school on an ASAP basis. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced school business professional to play a key role in supporting the effective day-to-day running of the school.

The successful candidate will have previous experience working within a school environment and be confident managing a range of administrative, financial and operational responsibilities.

• Oversee the day-to-day business and administrative functions of the school.
• Maintain accurate school records and ensure information is up to date.
• Manage and update school census information, ensuring submissions are accurate and completed within required deadlines.
• Support the preparation and submission of statutory returns and school data.
• Monitor and manage school budgets, expenditure and financial records.
• Process invoices, purchase orders and payments as required.
• Liaise with suppliers, contractors and external agencies.
• Support payroll and HR administration where required.
