Motor Vehicle Technician – Fleet Operations
Location: Bolton
Hours: 37.5 per week average
Shift allowance: approx 12.5% uplift on basic salary
Basic Salary: £32,073 - £39,043 per annum
OverviewWe are looking for an experienced vehicle technician to join our Bolton workshop facility. The role involves servicing, repairing and maintaining all Trust vehicles (Petrol / Diesel / Hybrid and EV) and specialist ambulance equipment.
Responsibilities- Service, repair and maintain Trust vehicles to DVSA standards.
- Provide skilled service and repair of specialist ambulance equipment.
- Work within a modern workshop environment to maximise vehicle throughput and reduce delays.
- Work 365 days per year through a rotating shift pattern.
- Recognised apprenticeship in Motor Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent experience.
- NVQ or C&G level 3 qualifications.
- Full UK driving licence with category C1 entitlement.
- Shift allowance 12.5% uplift on basic salary.
- Training and CPD opportunities.
- Dedicated management support structure.
- Involvement in a fleet of 1185 vehicles across NWAS.
