Service Advisor

We are recruiting on behalf of a leading main dealer in Bolton for a Service Advisor position that offers an excellent career opportunity within the automotive industry. The successful Service Advisor will be integral to maintaining high standards of customer service and operational efficiency.

Competitive basic salary starting from £27,000, with an OTE of up to £35,000

Hours:

Monday to Friday, 8am to 5.30pm, with every other Saturday morning (8am-12.30pm)

Duties of a Service Advisor:

Manage the workflow for Vehicle Technicians and Mechanics, ensuring efficient scheduling and task allocation
Liaise effectively between customers, workshop teams, and management to coordinate repairs and services
Deliver exceptional customer service, building trust and long-term relationships with clients
Keep customers informed on vehicle repair progress and advice on service requirements
Maintain accurate records of service history and customer interactions
Promote additional services and products in a professional manner to maximise dealership revenue
Ensure compliance with health and safety policies and dealership procedures at all times

Requirements of a Service Advisor:

Proven experience as a Service Advisor within a main dealership environment
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact confidently with customers and colleagues
Basic technical understanding of automotive systems for accurate customer consultation
Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
Proficiency in dealership management software and computer literacy
Professional appearance and attitude, representing the dealership positively
