We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Commercial Support Assistant to join our dynamic Sales & Marketing team. This role supports the Commercial Manager and Director by generating insights into customer and business performance through the analysis of complex data sources. You’ll be responsible for presenting commercial information in a clear and actionable format for both scheduled reporting and ad-hoc requests.
Key ResponsibilitiesReporting & Analysis
- Analyse large and varied datasets to generate actionable insights.
- Deliver regular and ad-hoc commercial reports to internal stakeholders and external customers.
Data & Systems
- Extract and combine data from multiple sources.
- Interpret, visualise, and communicate analytical results clearly.
- Collaborate with Sales, MI, and other teams to enhance data quality and availability.
- Work with the MI team to automate and streamline reporting using tools like Power BI and SSRS.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Manage multiple requests from stakeholders, ensuring timely and high-quality outputs.
- Represent the Commercial team in cross-functional projects as needed.
- Monitor key commercial metrics to identify trends, risks, and opportunities early.
Knowledge & Experience
- Strong understanding of Premex end-to-end processes.
- Advanced Excel skills (essential).
- Experience using Power BI.
- Familiarity with CMS.
- Commercial experience in high-volume service environments.
- Understanding of MI related to sales, invoicing, commissions, and write-offs (desirable).
- Proven ability to manage workload in a fast-paced setting.
- Experience working with diverse stakeholders and large datasets.
Skills & Abilities
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
- High attention to detail and strong analytical thinking.
- Comfortable working with numbers and financial metrics to support business performance analysis.
