Estimator, Construction, Procurement ​/ Purchasing

Opportunity due to business growth and an increase in invitations to tender.

We are currently recruiting an Estimator / Senior Estimator in Greater Manchester on behalf of our client, an established regional contractor delivering large-scale new build and refurbishment projects across education, healthcare, and commercial sectors.

As an Estimator, you will play a key role in preparing competitive tender submissions and ensuring the delivery of accurate, high-quality bids. Your duties will include:

• Managing and preparing tenders (one / two-stage or negotiated contracts)
• Sending tender enquiries to the supply chain and analysing returned quotes
• Attending supply chain meetings to ensure accurate scopes of work and competitive pricing
• Site visits across the North West / Midlands region
• Staying up-to-date with modern build techniques and materials

• Main contractor background
• Experience with one and two-stage tenders
• Conquest experience is beneficial but not essential
• Strong work ethic with excellent organisational skills
• Attention to detail and able to manage multiple deadlines
