Estimator​/Quantity Surveyor

Overview

Quantity Surveyor / Estimator - Civils & Groundworks – Horwich (Office Based). We are looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor with estimating experience to join our growing team in Horwich. This role is split approximately 70% estimating and 30% project surveying.

• Preparing accurate estimates and tender submissions
• Pricing civils and groundworks packages
• Managing project costs and commercial performance on live projects
• Valuations, variations and final accounts
• Working closely with clients, subcontractors and the delivery team

• Solid experience as a Quantity Surveyor within civils and/or groundworks
• Estimating experience and confidence pricing work independently
• Commercially aware and well organised
• Wants to play a key role in a small, ambitious business
• Based locally to Horwich or within a reasonable commuting distance
• This role would suit someone with a few years of industry experience seeking a fresh challenge and the opportunity to have a genuine impact within a close-knit team
