This is a fantastic opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor to join a respected main contractor delivering a £20M mixed-tenure housing scheme in Bolton. You’ll be working on a project that includes homes for sale, affordable units, and apartments—making a real impact on community housing while progressing your career.

As a Quantity Surveyor, you’ll be part of a collaborative commercial team, taking the lead on procurement strategies and ensuring value is extracted across all packages. With full involvement from pre-construction through to final account, you’ll be trusted with responsibility and given the tools to deliver. Your experience in either housing or main contracting will serve you well in this hands-on, commercially focused environment.

The Quantity Surveyor role includes:

Taking ownership of subcontractor procurement, negotiation, and contract management

Managing cost control, valuations, and CVRs

Working closely with the site team to forecast costs and mitigate risks

Reporting directly to a supportive Commercial Manager who champions autonomy
