Are you a Estimator looking to join a growing and well-established business where you can develop your skills and build a long-term career?
We're recruiting on behalf of Acoustic Solutions, a specialist contractor based in Bolton, for an organised and motivated Estimator to join their expanding team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with estimating experience, ideally within construction or a related industry, who enjoys working in a collaborative environment and delivering accurate quotations for a variety of projects.
The Role
As a Estimator, you will support the commercial team by preparing accurate cost estimates and quotations for acoustic solutions across a range of commercial and residential projects.
Key responsibilities include:
Reviewing drawings, specifications and tender documentation
Preparing accurate cost estimates and quotations
Liaising with suppliers and manufacturers to obtain competitive pricing
Assisting with the preparation and submission of tenders
Updating estimates as project requirements change
Maintaining accurate project records and documentation
Working closely with the sales, design and project teams to ensure smooth project delivery
Building strong relationships with clients, suppliers and contractors
About You
We're looking for someone who is organised, detail-oriented and eager to develop their career within a specialist construction business.
Ideally, you'll have:
Previous experience in an Estimator or Junior Estimator role
Experience with in the construction industry (preferred)
Strong numerical and analytical skills
Excellent attention to detail
The ability to prioritise and work to deadlines
Strong written and verbal communication skills
The ability to work independently and as part of a team
Good organisational and time management skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel and Teams
Experience using estimating software would be advantageous
A minimum of 5 GCSEs, including English and Maths
