Dream Medical is seeking Locum GPs with a passion for fast-paced treatment to undertake ongoing rotas with an esteemed client of ours based at a site in Eaton Bolton Wigan.

We are looking for locum GPs interested in doing day or night work, or a mix of both. Weekends are also available with higher rates of pay.

There is a strong community team supporting the service daily.

This role includes:

• Undertaking surgery consultations, telephone consultations, home visits, checking and signing prescriptions, and handling queries, paperwork, and correspondence.
• Making professional, autonomous decisions.
• Assessing healthcare needs, screening for disease risk factors, and developing treatment plans.
• Providing counselling and health education.
• Referring patients to other care providers as needed.
• Recording clear consultation notes.
• Championing clinical governance and working with the management team.
• Compiling and issuing prescriptions.
• Supporting clinical team members with supervision.

Qualifications and experience required:

• Full, unrestricted GMC registration on the GP Register.
• MRCGP qualification.
• Excellent command of English.
• GP vocational or additional general practice experience.
• Knowledge of NHS and clinical governance.
• Ability to work under pressure in a dynamic environment.

The hourly rate is £80.00, competitive for the region. Shifts and rotas are planned 2 months in advance. Applications are welcome even if you have a notice period of 3+ months.
