Year 4 Primary Teacher

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Year 4 Primary Teacher to join a welcoming and supportive primary school in Bolton. This is a full-time maternity cover role beginning in January and running through to December. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching, creating an engaging classroom environment, and supporting the progress and well‑being of all pupils in the Year 4 class.

• Plan, deliver, and assess engaging lessons in line with the Year 4 curriculum
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
• Track pupil progress and provide effective feedback
• Work collaboratively with colleagues, teaching assistants, and senior staff
• Build positive relationships with pupils, parents, and the wider school community
• Maintain high standards of behaviour and safeguarding practice

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience teaching in Key Stage 2 (Year 4 experience desirable)
• Strong classroom management skills
• A passion for supporting the academic and personal development of pupils
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
