Are you passionate about helping children with additional needs reach their full potential? We are seeking a Specialist SEN Teaching Assistant to join our dedicated and inclusive team in Bolton.

The Role
As a Specialist SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:
Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with special educational needs, including Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), communication difficulties, and sensory needs.
Support pupils' emotional regulation, social skills, and learning engagement.
Work closely with class teachers, SENCOs, and external professionals to implement Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs).
Assist with communication aids, sensory-based learning, and behaviour strategies.
Create a nurturing and safe environment where every child feels valued and understood.
About You
We're looking for someone who is:
Experienced in supporting pupils with SEN (Autism, speech & language, or SEMH experience desirable).
Calm, empathetic, and resilient with a positive attitude.
Able to build strong, trusting relationships with pupils and staff.
Knowledgeable in strategies such as PECS, Makaton, or TEACCH (training available).
A team player who believes in inclusion and personalised learning.
