Fixed term until 31st August 2026
Working Pattern:
Term Time Only, Monday–Friday

St Gregory’s Primary School, Bolton is seeking a caring and dedicated Pupil Support Assistant (1:1) to join their team through the Supply Register. This role involves working closely with a Year 2 pupil, providing tailored support to help them access learning, develop confidence, and thrive within the classroom environment.

This is a rewarding opportunity to join a supportive school community and play a vital role in a child’s educational and personal development.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide one-to-one and occasional small group support for a Year 2 pupil with Special Educational Needs (SEN), promoting inclusion, independence, and self-esteem.

Support the delivery of individual education and support plans, adapting activities to meet the pupil’s needs.

Use a range of resources and learning environments, both in and out of the classroom, to support learning and development.

Monitor, record, and report on pupil progress and wellbeing, raising concerns where appropriate.

Work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure consistent and effective support.

Promote positive behaviour and social interaction in line with school policies and safeguarding requirements.
